Alpine Air Alaska, LLC Promotes Sasha Swift to General Manager

Today we announce Sasha Swift has been promoted to General Manager. She assumes this responsibility from Deb Essex who has run the company with her husband Keith for 15 years and will remain as Senior Manager with a focus on staff training and development. Sasha will report to the company’s President and Board of Directors, and will consult closely with Andy Wallace, Director of Operations. Along with other members of the executive team including Director of Maintenance Casey Fagerquist and Chief Pilot Turner Pahl, Sasha will manage a fleet of 14 helicopters and four locations in Southcentral Alaska. “Sasha joined us five years ago and quickly took on complex responsibilities in the business” said Keith Essex, President. “She is an excellent team manager with a background in marketing, operations, finance, and administration. Update June 1, 2020: We're excited to announce that we are re-opening in June! We will resume our scenic flights on June 1st, and glacier dog sled tours on June 25th. Charter flight services remain ready for operation. Our team is taking extra steps to protect the well-being our guests, support staff, ground-crew and pilots. We have instituted rigorous COVID-19 safety measures and are closely following the city's operating requirements and CDC guidelines to implement simple, effective and environmentally safe procedures to clean and disinfect all passenger contact areas. We are taking the following steps: Employees will screen for any signs of illness prior to work and any employee displaying symptoms of COVID-19 will not be permitted to enter the establishment.
