Alpine Air Flight Seeing over the Neacola Mountains near Blockade Glacier

Alpine Air Alaska - Thursday, June 26, 2014

Alpine Air Alaska pilots have some beautiful office views and commutes. In addition to flight seeing tours and helicopter trips up to Punchbowl Glacier for dog sled tours, Alpine Air books numerous charter trips in the long light of Alaskan summers. Recently, our pilot Martin was on a charter for an Alaskan lodge. When remote lodges schedule our services, we are there to provide guests with breathtaking flights through remote mountain ranges and over clear glacier fed streams. Martin took this photo at Blockade Glacier in the Neacola Mountains, part of the Aleutian Range on the western side of Cook Inlet, Alaska. A helicopter flight makes experiencing this vast state seem easy, especially since there are no paved roads to this view! Thank you Martin for documenting this beautiful glacier for us to enjoy!
